Meet artists wood sculptors Jason and Russelll Hart; known as a team as the Hart Brothers. They will showcase their legendary wood turned vases and bowls that have been electrified and infused with a proprietary phosphorous infused epoxy blend which glows in the dark. These mesmerizing vessels capture the imagination as they are a perfect poetic metaphor of our region. Collectors love the artistic resemblance to our Fontana Lake river basin and the fact that each is a unique work of art. Jon Houglum and Christine Schlageter will also join us. Come and listen to Jon share his homespun stories. Both Jon and Christine are lifelong artists and art instructors. They each have long-time collectors and enduring students and VIP fans. Jon and Christine are dedicated to creating their own unique artworks. Jon is a master impressionist painter; Christine is an acrylic painter. Enjoy them both as they describe their award-winning painting techniques. Our artists enjoy sharing their techniques and inspiration for creating their Smoky Mountain nature-inspired artworks.
