Come visit Gallery Zella at 166 Everett Street in the old bank building as we celebrate the beginning of our seventh season in Bryson City! We kick off the season each year beginning the first Saturday of April. Many of you became acquainted with us when we started the gallery in the GSMR Presidential Suite January 2016. Gallery Zella moved to our current building January 2019. This newly restored historic building began as a bank in 1915 and has deep roots in our community. Our new space houses four showrooms including the main showroom's innovative "room within a room". This inner showroom features an exclusive collection by our best selling artist and co-owner, Brian Hannum. The middle showroom is the "vault room" which houses the old bank's actual vault and serves as the gallery's dimmer room. This where our collectors may view their artworks under daylight LED dimmers for maximum enjoyment. Lastly, our back showroom houses much of our original oil painting collection along with unique gifts and small format framed photograph. Over a dozen local artists have contributed their talents to create what many believe is the finest collection of art in WNC. We also showcase exclusive collections by two internationally renowned artists. More good news! Our side door entrance offers a wheel chair accessible entrance so those with mobility challenges may enjoy are unique works of art, artistic gifts, and fine art photography.
